Early Warning System for Tsunamis

Mr. Hong is the co-founder of the Malaysian operations since April 1996. He is the managing director of Baxter Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. In its early operational years, Mr. Hong was responsible for the promotion of the Genesis Alert Oil Detection System to the Malaysian markets and the region.

He marketed the technologies to industries, government and trade exhibitions. He also spearheaded an aggressive promotion in the mass media and television.

Mr. Hong was involved in both the private and public sector for a decade in finance prior to his entrepreneurial career. In 1976, he was the pioneer in introducing the Tuff Kote Dinol" a Swedish-US automotive rustproofing services to the automobile industry.

He is also actively involved in community services, having served in the Lions Clubs International movement since 1977. He has held various leadership positions and was the Council Chairman for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei for the period 2000-2001.
